As Crystalvale approaches us this quarter, its crucial for us to start bridging some funds over for the expansion. In this article I will be providing step by step guidance on how to transfer stables over Harmony to Avalanche, some tips and tips on loading up funds to Harmony mainnet.
1. CELER BRIDGE GUIDE
Step 1: Set your metamask to Harmony main-net & click on the link below: https://cbridge.celer.network/#/transfer
Select “Avalanche” or your desired chain.
Step 2: Select whichever stablecoin of preference and click “transfer”.
Take note that fees are based on network status and you will also receive minimal amounts of 0.01 Avax which will be enough for 1 swap.
Step 3: Approve Celer access for transfer of USDC
Step 4: Confirm transfer
Step 5: Check and wait for funds to be released
Step 6: Once its completed, change over to Avalanche C-Chain network.
Done. With a simple 6-step process, your stables has been transferred over to Avax.
2. LOADING UP FUNDS TO HARMONY MAIN-NET
With the recent price action of Harmony (ONE) token, Binance, Kucoin and Crypto.com withdrawals of ONE token has been delayed or stuck for hours.
One of the immediate solution will be to take advantage of cheap bridges such as Celer. Instead of withdrawing ONE’s, users can opt to withdraw Matic to Polygon Network or, FTM to Fantom Network and thereafter bridge their funds to Harmony. With Polygon & Fantom both supporting low gas fees transactions, it will not cost too much to bridge over funds to Harmony during urgent times.
